Berman Fink Van Horn has added real estate and corporate lawyer Lawrence Kasmen as a shareholder, expanding the 17-lawyer firm’s commercial real estate practice.

Kasmen ran his own firm for 15 years while pursuing entrepreneurial ventures. He was a partner in Vesmont, a home-building and residential development company, until 2009 and then co-founded mobilezen.com, a mobile app for businesses that facilitates marketing, sending texts and ads to smartphones. It was sold in 2014.
