Colleges and universities looking to inspire their graduates don’t think many lawyers and judges will get the job done, according to a list of 354 of the “best commencement speeches, ever” compiled by National Public Radio.

The list shows a sprinkling of bar members, while pros in show business and the news media dominated. Actor Ed Helms, talk-show host Stephen Colbert and New York Times columnist David Brooks led with three of the best-ever speeches each.
