A recent poll conducted by the Atlanta Bar Association found incumbents and big fundraisers in judicial elections across nine counties getting the best results.

The bar—which emphasized its poll was not scientific—asked its members to assess how qualified each candidate was for the bench position sought and to select the candidate “best qualified for the position.” The poll addressed candidates for judicial seats in Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Fulton, Griffin, Gwinnett, Henry, and Paulding counties.
