The big news on a busy judicial election night in Cobb County–with four seats open and two incumbents being challenged–is that only one race will have to be decided in a runoff.

In two crowded races for open seats, the leading candidates brought in more than 50 percent of the vote, winning without the need for runoff elections. The incumbent judges being challenged fended off their opponents.
