Bob Kauffman started his year as president of the State Bar of Georgia with a pledge to “look inward,” and he’ll end it with a unified bar leadership that approved a strategic plan to guide the bar’s direction over the next few years.
Kauffman said that his long-term approach as a bar president was more a side effect of his goals than a strategic move. “It wasn’t intentional. It was more just looking at the needs of the bar going forward. Some of these things just take a lot of time to dive into,” Kauffman said.
