Beyond his career in corporate and securities law, Mike Trotter, 79, early on advocated for racial integration in Atlanta and then became a prescient gadfly to the legal profession.

The Atlanta native joined Alston Miller & Gaines, now Alston & Bird, in 1962 after Harvard Law School and started working for its major client, Citizens & Southern National Bank.
