Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton led Atlanta-based firms in The American Lawyer’s annual pro bono ranking of the 200 top-grossing U.S. firms, edging out last year’s top-ranked Atlanta firm, Alston & Bird.
Kilpatrick and Alston were the only two Atlanta-based firms in the survey with lawyers averaging more than 50 hours of pro bono work annually. They were also the only two where more than half their lawyers spent more than 20 hours on pro bono annually.
