After nine years as a deputy district attorney heading the Gangs and Drugs Unit for the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, J. Gabriel “Gabe” Banks has joined Weathington Smith to take on med-mal defense cases.
Banks met the firm’s founder, Paul Weathington, earlier this year while campaigning for a Fulton County Superior Court judge seat, which came open after Judge T. Jackson Bedford decided not to run for re-election. Banks lost the race to Thomas Cox Jr., a labor and employment litigator at Fisher & Phillips.
