In a landmark $8 billion deal, Robert “Bo” Strauss and Morris Little of Taylor English Duma advised a Russian freight airline consortium, the Volga-Dnepr Group, on the acquisition of 20 Boeing 747-8 cargo planes, giving Boeing’s 747 program a shot in the arm.
The four-engine 747-8 jumbo jet, known as the “Queen of the Skies,” is the largest U.S. plane in production. The most notable 747-8 is Air Force One, which is customized for presidential use.
