A city of Atlanta solicitor who was threatened with a Taser by a police officer during his 2015 arrest for speeding and other charges has filed a libel suit against Fox 5 News for its coverage of the incident.
Darryl Ferguson, an 11-year veteran of the city solicitor’s office, was suspended after the traffic stop last August, during which he was charged with driving 55 in a 35 mph zone, obstruction and failing to have his driver’s license with him, all misdemeanors.
