Midlevel associates at several of Atlanta’s large law firms are a much happier bunch than a few years ago—at least the ones responding to The American Lawyer’s annual Midlevel Associate Satisfaction survey.

Now that their firms have matched the national pay raise triggered by New York firm Cravath Swaine & Moore in June, they should be even happier. Associates who answered the survey this spring had one overwhelming complaint—they wanted more money.
