The chief justice of the Georgia Supreme Court expressed concern Thursday for the 90 new lawyers who were mistakenly told they’d failed the bar exam when they had actually passed. He also emphasized the importance of safeguarding against future scoring glitches.
“This came as a surprise to all of us,” Chief Justice Hugh Thompson said in an interview with the Daily Report. “We’re aware that it has created a disruption in peoples’ lives. We want to make absolutely certain it doesn’t happen again.”
