Mark Carlson has rejoined Baker, Donelson, Berman, Caldwell & Berkowitz in a newly created position overseeing its business law department after a stint as general counsel for a local tech company.

Carlson chaired the business law department before joining LED-display maker NanoLumens in early 2015, after almost 11 years practicing transactional law at Baker Donelson. But as its new managing director, Carlson will not be doing any lawyering directly for clients.
