Following a brief ceremony at the State Capitol Tuesday morning during which Gov. Nathan Deal swore him in as Georgia’s attorney general, Chris Carr sat down for a moment and talked about his approach to his new job, comparing it to his prior role as commissioner of the state Department of Economic Development.

The jobs are different, but similar, he said, “Number one, it’s all customer service,” he said. “I’m a relationship and communications person.”
