Fisher & Phillips Partner Claud “Tex” McIver will retire from his firm in the wake of his wife’s shooting death and news Wednesday that warrants were issued against him for his role in her death, the firm said.
The Atlanta Police Department issued warrants Wednesday for McIver for involuntary manslaughter and reckless conduct in the death of Diane McIver, who died Sept. 26 in what Tex McIver has said through his attorney was an accidental shooting.
