Former DeKalb County District Attorney Robert James has joined plaintiffs firm Moriss Shim James as a name partner after 18 years as a prosecutor.

James, the incumbent, lost the DeKalb district attorney’s race last year to Sherry Boston, the DeKalb County solicitor. During his six years as district attorney, James’ high-profile prosecutions included Hemy Neuman and Andrea Sneiderman over the 2010 murder of Sneiderman’s husband, Rusty, outside a Dunwoody daycare. Neuman was convicted of the murder and Sneiderman was convicted at a subsequent trial of lying during the investigation.
