A DeKalb County jury awarded $6.5 million to a man who was injured when the pickup truck in which he was a passenger collided with a tractor-trailer. The jury split liability evenly between both drivers.

Lead plaintiffs attorney Jay Sadd said his client, James Swartz, suffered injuries requiring two hip surgeries, including a replacement, and has a permanent nerve injury impeding his ability to continue as a residential landscaper.
