It’s been a busy year so far for plaintiffs firm The Stone Law Group.

William Stone formed predecessor firm Boone & Stone in 2002 with David Boone, but Boone retired last year due to health issues. Stone and his sons, Ryals and James Stone, regrouped as The Stone Law Group, and then in February tried a big medical-malpractice case—one that Boone had initiated almost a decade ago. After a two-week trial, they won a $45.8 million jury verdict for the plaintiffs, Shannon and Keith Trabue.
