Schick v. Board of Regents of the Univ. Sys. of GA

David Schick appeals from the final order of the trial court entered after a bench trial on his suit against the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia Board seeking injunctive relief, penalties, and an award of attorney fees based on the alleged failure to comply with the provisions of Georgia’s Open Records Act Act, OCGA § 50-18-70 et seq., in responding to two open record requests Schick submitted to the Board and Georgia Perimeter College GPC1 in July 2012. As more fully set forth below, we now reverse the trial court’s order in part and remand for further proceedings consistent with this opinion.

We decide the issues raised in this appeal under the following standard of review.
