On March 29, Sen. David Perdue, R-Georgia, spoke in support of Supreme Court nominee Judge Neil Gorsuch and urged Democrats to not filibuster a confirmation vote. Perdue’s comments were provided by his office and appear in entirety below:

I rise today to speak about one of the greatest honors and privileges we enjoy here in the United States Senate. As outlined in Article II, Section II of the Constitution, one of the real honors of serving here in the United States Senate is the opportunity to offer advice and consent for nominees to the United States Supreme Court.
