Trial lawyer and former prosecutor Kenneth Hodges III—who became known around the state with a hard-fought, but unsuccessful, campaign for attorney general—has announced plans to run for an open seat on the Georgia Court of Appeals in 2018.
“We need perspective from all over the state,” Hodges said in an interview Friday. A native of Albany, he would be the only judge on the court from south of Macon. He added he could offer the court diversity in experience as well as geography. His 26 years of law practice have included stints with large, medium and small firms. He now has his own firm and a general law practice with offices in Atlanta and Albany.
