If people at King & Spalding and Alston & Bird are feeling competitive, the last day of the Georgia Legal Food Frenzy could get quite interesting in Midtown Atlanta.

On Thursday afternoon, the two highest-grossing Atlanta-based firms led the teams raising money for the Atlanta Community Food Bank. King & Spalding stood at $13,625 at 3:35 p.m. A few blocks away, Alston & Bird was at $9,379 after riding a nearly $4,000 wave of donations to vault from fifth place to second.
