During the Good Friday search of Atlanta attorney Claud “Tex” McIver’s home, a prosecutor who was part of the search team spotted legal bills from McIver’s lawyer and began to go through them, McIver’s lawyers say.

That prosecutor then showed the bills to an investigator, singling out one interview in particular that McIver’s legal team had conducted, according to the woman the former Fisher & Phillips partner hired to manage his late wife’s estate after he shot Diane McIver to death last September. She witnessed the exchange.
