Widener University Delaware Law School has partnered with the University of Delaware English Language Institute to help international students funnel into the law school's Master of Laws programs.
Under the agreement, the students will receive the writing, research and oral training from the English Language Institute necessary to enter Delaware Law's pre-LL.M. program. The law school will then waive the standardized English exam requirement for students who complete an English graduate studies course at the institute and earn a grade of B-plus or higher in listening and speaking, and reading and writing, courses.
Delaware Law's one-year pre-LL.M. program is designed for foreign attorneys to hone their research, writing and language skills, as they prepare to pursue an LL.M. degree.
