Several Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell partners are set to attend the American Bar Association Business Law Section spring meeting this week in Vancouver.

The attorneys will attend as committee leaders and speakers, sharing insights on M&A, private equity and venture capital, and alternative entities, according to a firm press release.

Morris Nichols partner Eric Klinger-Wilensky, chair of the ABA private equity and venture capital committee, on Thursday is set to present the program “Delaware Hodgepodge: A Review of Frequent Questions Delaware Law Practitioners Receive Regarding Private Equity and Venture Capital.”

Tarik Haskins is scheduled to speak in a middle market and small business program Thursday and co-chair the secured lending and secured transactions joint subcommittee meeting Friday.

On Friday morning, Louis Hering is set to present the annual “LLC Case Law Update” for the LLCs, partnerships and unincorporated entities committee, with emphasis on Delaware developments.

Firm counsel Rick Alexander is set to speak Friday at the nonprofit organizations committee program, “Cross Border Social Enterprises and Social Responsibility: Benefit Corporations, Social Enterprises, and Corporate Social Responsibility in the States and Canada.”

Senior counsel Donald F. Parsons Jr. is set to speak in the business and corporate litigation committee program Friday and the corporate governance committee program Saturday.

Morris Nichols partner Patricia Vella is set to co-chair the acquisitions of public companies subcommittee meeting and co-chair the Model Business Corporation Act implementation and outreach task force Friday afternoon. Later that afternoon, she will speak at the M&A committee program.

Melissa DiVincenzo is set to speak at the MBCA program “Ratification of Defective Corporate Acts—Delaware, the Model Business Corporation Act and Beyond.”
