After being nominated for the position by Delaware Gov. John Carney in June, Morris James attorney Meghan A. Adams was confirmed as a Delaware Superior Court judge. 

According to the firm's website, Adams was a member of Morris James' business litigation group and focused her practice on corporate and commercial litigation.

She handled matters related to corporate governance, complex commercial litigation, stockholder litigation, fiduciary duties, limited liability company and limited partnership disputes, officer and director indemnity, and breach of contract. 

She is a fellow of the American Bar Foundation and chair of the American Bar Association alternative business entities subcommittee and business law section. She is also the incoming president of the Richard S. Rodney Inn of Court.
