Leaders at Maron Marvel Bradley Anderson & Tardy named Catherine Pyune McEldowney managing shareholder, president and executive committee chair last week, making her one of the few Asian American women to lead a law firm in the U.S.

McEldowney, whose three-year appointment went into effect March 31, has set an agenda of building on the Wilmington-based firm’s national platform as an innovative defender in mass torts and providing opportunities for attorneys from underrepresented demographics.
