Potter Anderson & Corroon announced Monday corporate litigation practice leader Peter J. Walsh Jr. will be the firm’s next executive committee chair and succeed two-term chair Kathleen Furey McDonough for a three-year term starting Jan. 1.

Walsh, who has been at Potter Anderson for the entirety of his more than 35-year career to date, frequently appears in Court of Chancery litigation and has argued before the Supreme Court of Delaware and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
