Richards, Layton & Finger has
announced a new, three-person leadership group that, according to the firm, will mark the first time the top leaders of a Delaware firm include a female majority and an African-American.

Corporate partner Gregory V. Varallo took over as president of the firm July 1 after spending three years as executive vice president. His former role will now be filled by Doneene Damon, an African-American woman who will take over as president of Richards Layton when Varallo’s three-year term is up. Varallo takes over from real estate partner Robert J. Krapf, whose three-year term ended June 30.
