Sprint secured a $27.6 million verdict in a patent infringement suit involving data delivery patents against Comcast on Feb. 6.
A jury returned the verdict after a week-long trial on the infringement of two of Sprint's fiber optic data delivery patents, according to a release from Shook, Hardy & Bacon, which represented Sprint.
U.S. District Judge Richard G. Andrews of the District of Delaware presided over the trial.
