Widener University Delaware Law School announced that Joseph D. Farris III, a student at the school, was selected as the 2019 Distinguished Law Student for the Third Circuit.

Widener University Delaware Law School announced that Joseph D. Farris III, a student at the school, was selected as the 2019 Distinguished Law Student for the Third Circuit by the American College of Bankruptcy.
He currently is a Josiah Oliver Wolcott Fellow with Justice Karen L. Valihura of the Delaware Supreme Court and is set to join Potter Anderson & Corroon after taking the bar exam.
The Distinguished Law Student for the Third Circuit award is given to one student a year who is academically successful and interested in bankruptcy law. Nominated students are considered by a council from American College of Bankruptcy for the relevant circuit.
