Potter Anderson & Corroon announced that Josh Martin, senior counsel with the firm, is set to be given the meritorious service award from the Case Western Reserve University Alumni Association.
The award is scheduled to be presented Oct. 11, during the university’s homecoming and reunion weekend.
Martin focuses his practice on mediation, arbitration and business counseling. He primarily works on matters related to telecommunications, public utilities and governmental relations.
Before joining Potter Anderson, Martin served as president and CEO of Verizon Delaware. He also served as a judge for the Delaware Superior Court.

The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M. Berke on behalf of former employee George Edward Steins, who was arrested and charged with employing an unregistered home improvement salesperson. The complaint alleges that had Sunrun informed the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection that the plaintiff's employment had ended in 2017 and that he no longer held Sunrun's home improvement contractor license, he would not have been hit with charges, which were dismissed in May 2024.
