Bernstein Litowitz Berger & Grossmann announced that it expanded its practice to Wilmington, with former Richards, Layton & Finger president Greg Varallo heading the new office. The office is set to officially open in September. 

According to the announcement, the firm is opening the new office in a move to expand its corporate governance practice.

At Bernstein Litowitz, Varallo represents investors in complex business disputes. He focuses on protecting investor rights, primarily handling derivative and class action cases. Varallo spent 36 years at Richards Layton before joining Bernstein Litowitz and serves on the Delaware Supreme Court Rules Committee. He is also founding trustee, vice president and secretary of American College of Governance Counsel.
