Curtis P. Bounds, a director at Bayard, was named a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, according to an announcement from the firm.

To be selected as an AAML fellow, a family law practitioner must complete a series of interviews, examinations and evaluations. Currently, Bounds is the only active AAML attorney fellow in Delaware.

Bounds is head of Bayard's family law practice. He handles cases related to complex divorce and child custody.

He represents children who are abused, neglected or dependent as a volunteer with the Office of the Child Advocate and chairs the Delaware Family Law Commission.
