Wilmington-based Bayard announced that Evan T. Miller, a director at the firm, was elected to serve as secretary and treasurer of the Philadelphia Bar Association business law section. Miller was previously the section's communications officer.
Miller works in Bayard's business restructuring and liquidations group, where he focuses on corporate bankruptcy and restructuring.
His clients include debtors and trustees, preference and fraudulent transfer defendants, official committees of unsecured creditors, secured creditors and asset purchasers.
Miller's other leadership positions include serving as chair of the Turnaround Management Association NextGen Philadelphia chapter and as assistant secretary and treasurer of the Delaware Bankruptcy American Inn of Court.
