Benesch brought on Gregory Werkheiser as a partner in its Wilmington office, according to an announcement from the firm. He will work in the insolvency and creditors' rights practice group, where he will focus his practice on complex business bankruptcy cases and out-of-court restructurings.
Werkheiser represents debtors and creditors in matters related to bankruptcy and insolvency, bankruptcy appellate litigation and bankruptcy-related intellectual property.
He is co-chair of the Delaware State Bar Association bankruptcy section legislation committee. He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia in addition to Delaware.
