The American Bankruptcy Institute announced that Christopher A. Ward, the managing shareholder of Polsinelli's Delaware office, was named as the ABI's new vice president of development.

Ward is set to serve a two-year term in this role.

Ward began serving on the ABI board of directors in 2016 and chair and education director of the institute's technology and intellectual property committee. He is also a member of the Mid-Atlantic ABI endowment committee.

At Polsinelli, Ward is co-chair of the bankruptcy and financial restructuring practice. He focuses his practice on corporate bankruptcy, financial restructuring, bankruptcy litigation and distressed asset sales.
