The day after Derek Chauvin was convicted of murdering George Floyd, a campaign aiming to increase law enforcement transparency and accountability in Delaware was launched.

Police Accountability NOW, a coalition formed by Delaware's ACLU and NAACP chapters, Network Delaware, Metropolitan Wilmington Urban League's Building People Power Campaign, Not Just Another Protest and the Delaware Campaign for Smart Justice Policing Workgroup, announced plans to push lawmakers to reform the state's Law Enforcement Officers' Bill of Rights (LEOBOR) by the end of this year's legislative session.
