The number of new Chapter 11 cases may be declining, but bankruptcy partners are expecting more work later this year, prompting a string of partner hires in Big Law.

In the latest bankruptcy attorney moves, Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan said Tuesday that it was adding two new partners in its Washington, D.C., office. Erika Morabito and Brittany Nelson, most recently partners at Foley & Lardner, represent unsecured creditors’ committees, shareholders, trustees, receivers and debtors in bankruptcy matters.
