Delaware courts on Tuesday extended a state of judicial emergency for what’s now expected to be the final time.

In light of the recent decrease in COVID-19 infections and deaths, Chief Justice Collins J. Seitz Jr. announced the state’s courts are set to return to full staffing July 6 and resume all pre-pandemic procedures July 13, the same date Gov. John Carney has announced Delaware’s overall state of emergency will be lifted.
