A Delaware bankruptcy court has approved a restructuring agreement in which the Boy Scouts of America will set aside $850 million for those who experienced sexual abuse within the organization.

Chief Judge Laurie Selber Silverstein's approval of the restructuring settlement agreement reached earlier in August makes the settlement, which claimants' attorneys have said they expect to grow further through negotiations with other parties, what's thought to be the largest child sexual abuse settlement in U.S. history.
