Boeing’s shareholders can move forward with their claim directors should have engaged in greater oversight in an effort to prevent two fatal crashes, Vice Chancellor Morgan Zurn has ruled.

Two claims brought by plaintiff shareholders, represented by attorneys with Friedlander & Gorris and Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein, were dismissed with Zurn’s opinion Tuesday, but shareholders were determined to have met the high bar of proving Boeing directors were likely to be held liable for the lack of safety checks that resulted in the deaths of 346 total passengers and crew members in October 2018 and March 2019.
