DLA Piper announced that Stephanie O'Byrne and Jeff Castellano have joined the firm's patent litigation practice as of counsel in the firm's Wilmington office.
O'Byrne has nearly 20 years of intellectual property litigation experience in the District of Delaware. From 2006 to 2012, she served as the law clerk to former U.S. District Judge Sue L. Robinson of the District of Delaware, helping to handle more than 450 patent cases across the technology spectrum and drafting dozens of opinions for the court. Since then, O'Byrne has litigated a range of patent disputes in pharmaceuticals, genetic technology, medical devices and consumer electronics.
