Two Delaware pastors who say Gov. John Carney's pandemic restrictions encroached on their right to worship in their churches are now asking the Court of Chancery to rule on the pleadings.

A 95-page brief in support of a 12(c) motion was filed on Thursday by the plaintiffs, represented by The Neuberger Firm, Jacobs & Crumplar, Cousins Law and Martin D. Haverly, setting out a history-laden argument for why Carney's orders made during a state of emergency overstepped boundaries set by the state and federal constitutions.
