Twitter’s longtime chief legal officer is poised to have a soft financial landing if Elon Musk gives her the ax after completing the $44 billion purchase of Twitter.

Twitter’s proxy statement filed this month shows that the top brass of Twitter, including Chief Legal Officer Vijaya Gadde, are poised to receive payouts running into the millions if they are terminated within 12 months of a buyout.
