A Twitter shareholder has filed a Court of Chancery case seeking records related to the social company’s proposed takeover by Elon Musk and the misrepresentations of user data that halted it.

The complaint filed Tuesday stacks atop the existing lawsuit pending in the court against Twitter and Musk and states the shareholder plaintiff, represented by Blake Bennett of Cooch & Taylor with Newman Ferrara attorneys of counsel, is seeking to investigate the same possible board-level breaches, including whether the board failed to protect the company when entering into its merger agreement with Musk.
