XTO Energy Inc., a subsidiary of Exxon Mobil, was slapped with a collective employment action Monday in Delaware District Court. The complaint was brought by Farnan LLP; Bruckner Burch PLLC and Josephson Dunlap LLP on behalf of individuals employed by defendant as independent contractors or day rate workers who contend that they were not paid for overtime hours worked. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 1:22-cv-00784, Thompson v. XTO Energy, Inc.
