Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom partner Edward B. Micheletti and counsel Sarah Runnels Martin have stepped in to defend Taylor Commercial Foodservice, the manufacturer and servicer of McDonald’s ice cream machines, in a Lanham Act lawsuit brought by the developer of a purported repair solution. The complaint was filed May 5 in Delaware District Court by Irell & Manella; Clare Locke and Farnan LLP on behalf of Kytch Inc., which claims that Taylor disseminated false and misleading claims to Kytch customers. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Maryellen Noreika, is 1:22-cv-00606, Kytch, Inc. v. Taylor Commercial Foodservice, LLC.
