The Delaware Supreme Court ruled Wednesday there’s only one way for people who experienced technical difficulties during the remote 2021 bar exam to be admitted to the bar if they didn’t pass: take the exam again.

In response to two appeals of board decisions declining to grant Delaware bar admission to two candidates who didn’t pass the exam, the court found en banc that the Board of Bar Examiners’ policy increasing scores for those who had to restart their computers during the exam was fair and the Supreme Court didn’t have the authority to challenge or overlook the final grades entirely.
