The Supreme Court doesn’t seem to be done with patent eligibility just yet.

The justices on Monday called for the solicitor general’s views on an obscure eligibility case that raises similar issues to American Axle v. Neapco Holdings. The solicitor general recommended the court grant cert in that case last spring—causing much excitement in a patent bar eager for more guidance on the subject—but the court declined.
